Materials Matter

We choose to use natural American wool and Supima cotton fibers produced and grown here in the United States to spin the yarn from which we weave Tusca Home blankets.
Natural wool and cotton is non-toxic, naturally fire resistant, and straight up: Not Plastic petroleum based material.
Wool and cotton fiber and blankets have kept us safe, secure and healthy for eons because they truly are the original performance materials.

Our Looms

Our heirloom quality blankets are woven on vintage Crompton-Knowles shuttle looms, which yield self edging, or selvedge fabric typical of legacy blankets made slowly with careful attention to quality and detail in design and weave.
